Close your eyes. Relax. Take a deep breath of air that has just crossed the largest body of fresh water in the world. Imagine a landscape where the rugged Canadian Shield is interspersed with cascading waterfalls and covered in rich boreal forest. You’re in Northern Ontario, a geographically unique landscape and one of the few relatively untouched wilderness spaces left in Canada.

This beautiful and rugged land has remained virtually untouched by civilization. Forests, mountains and lakes exist here as they have for millions of years.

Now, open your eyes, get your blood pumping, find two friends (or strangers!), and experience "the Soo" with some adrenaline in your veins! Register now for an unforgettable journey on Saturday, Sept 6 as we take you off the beaten path during the Frontier Adventure Challenge - Searchmont Resort.

Your team of three guys, girls or both will bike, paddle, hike, trail run, and navigate an unmarked 40km wilderness course, enjoying the challenge of the outdoors for up to 8 hours. Then celebrate your achievement with a high-energy social awards, dinner, and party at Searchmont Resort.

SPECIAL "YOUTH" DIVISION: To recognize the growing youth participation in adventure racing - driven by many high schools around the Algoma Region - we're offering a 'youth' division with specific prizing and rankings. And best of all - special pricing! Any team with all members 21 & under can register for only $295!

TOP-NOTCH COURSE DESIGN: Course design by world famous adventure racer and Sault Ste Marie resident, Lawrence Foster. We've built a fun and challenging course to remember, with a few surprise twists to keep you sharp!

MAKE IT A WEEKEND: Why rush home? Help us make the finish line rowdy! Stay for the post-race awards and party. Get a great deal on a condo at Searchmont or a room at the Great Northern Hotel. Explore the adventures and amenities in the area. And don't miss ChiliFest on Sunday, with entertainment and the best hot & spicy chili from the area's favorite restaurants, to benefit the Sault Area Hospital Foundation.
